The entire complex is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Be sure to plan a walk through the world-famous Mirabell Gardens and pay a visit to the gnomes in the dwarf garden. From there, you can reach the Salzburg Cathedral in just a few minutes. The Salzburg Cathedral was built in just 14 years and is considered the first early Baroque church north of the Alps. The beautiful cathedral is dedicated to Saints Rupert and Virgil. It has its own ensemble for drama, ballet and musical theatre. It is a listed building and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Around 400 performances are played here each season. There is an exhibition honouring Mozart at Makartplatz 8. Afterwards, you can treat yourself to a refreshment in the Caf\u00e9 Classic in Mozart&#8217;s former residence. After a short walk across the Staatsbr\u00fccke, you will find yourself in front of Mozart&#8217;s birthplace. The virtuoso was born in 1756 in the so-called &#8220;Hagenauer Haus&#8221; at Getreidegasse 9.
